Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) has an outstanding opportunity for a Mid-Level Production Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist to join the F/A-18 IP&S organization, reporting to the BDS IP&S Production Manager. This position would have the primary responsibility to lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain detailed Master Production Schedule plans for a variety of major production programs. The candidate will coordinate and communicate the status of and the actions for Master Production Schedule projects for the respective programs. This position will perform what-if analysis to determine impacts, constraints, and plans involving product development, process improvement, or program initiatives. This position requires the MPS to serve as a subject matter expert to management and a special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, processes, plans, and objectives. The ability to provide analysis and product development initiatives for manufacturing, program, and support organizations will be critical. This individual will produce metrics for plans and schedules for moderate to complex projects, programs, and change activities across the lifecycle of programs and projects. The position may also lead, direct, facilitate, and ensure integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers, and partners. The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with managers and internal/external Boeing customers. The candidate must be proactive and work well within a team environment, possibly as the scheduling lead. Flexibility, initiative, detail orientation, ability to multi-task, and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment.
