About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is a dedicated services business, focused on the needs of Global Defense, Space, Commercial, business and general aviation customers and has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Manufacturing Planner (Mid-Level) to join the team in Dallas, TX. Supply Chain Engineering is an organization focused on providing world-class engineering support and parts to ensure the successful operations of our Commercial and Government customers. The Manufacturing Planner role will serve as First Responders to customers by providing liaison support on issues and concerns that arise around planning efforts. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Dallas, TX facility. This role may require 1st and 2nd shift support or weekend shift.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience supporting commercial aircraft engineering definition, planning, and kitting
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience in using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of part certification processes

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers by evaluating and resolving complex customer spares procurement issues.
  • Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, standards, regulations, and data from multiple sources to develop recommendations and best approach to meet customer requirements.
  • Communicate directly with customers to provide education and clarification to support a wide range of technical issues.
  • Team with other Boeing groups to provide solutions to complex technical issues surrounding airline spares and maintenance requirements.
  • Provide resolution for incoming requests for assistance
  • Support Retrofit Change Board activity by creating and maintaining technical data/definition of Service Bulletin Kits, Components, Tools, and End Items
