About The Position

Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner to join our team in Jacksonville, FL Primary Responsibilities: Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues. Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs. Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Works under general direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of experience in understanding engineering intent and requirements.
• 5+ years experienced problem solver with knowledge of aircraft systems.
• 5+ years’ of experience in production detailed planning, owning value stream build plans, and understanding engineering intent and requirements.
• Comfortable and knowledgeable working in a ship side support, rapid reaction force role to support the aircraft build.

Nice To Haves

• 5 or more years’ of experience writing aircraft work instructions utilizing People, Parts, Processes, Tools and Designs to complete a cohesive, correct and complete build plan and experience in fabrication, raw material, assembly and chemical processing
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 767/KC-46 build plan and Production, Machining and Fabrication knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge and use of 767 Aircraft systems (i.e. ENOVIA, DELMIA, ETAC, IVT, CATIA, and REDARs).
• Able to work in an emergent environment to mitigate production stops through fabrication
• Team player, able to works independently and competently with little direction and supervision on daily tasks.
