About The Position

SWA is an award-winning, international landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm with offices in California, Texas, New York and Shanghai. We are currently seeking talented, design-oriented landscape architects to fulfill substantial roles in our Los Angeles office. Our work is recognized for its visionary aesthetics, exceptional functionality, keen understanding of social design, and strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. Candidates are required to submit a resume and an extensive portfolio of built projects and drawing sets highlighting Design capabilities, Construction Documents, materials and details. The ideal candidate will have at minimum 3-5 year work experience in a landscape architecture firm in the US.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
• 3-5 years of work experience in a landscape architecture firm in the US
• Strong design and construction detail skills (on-structure/on-grade)
• Proficiency with Auto CAD, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Demonstrated ability in Construction Documents and Specifications
• Strong communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and presentations
• Manage projects and coordinate project activities
• Prepare construction documents and specifications
• Develop strong design and construction details
• Utilize software tools such as Auto CAD, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
