About The Position
Dawson Design Associates is seeking a talented and qualified mid-level interior designer/architect to join our beautiful Kitsap County studio. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating immersive, narrative-driven hotel experiences. We are looking for candidates who possess a curious nature and a strong desire to learn, as well as an appreciation for working in a serene rural setting surrounded by nature. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design or interior architecture, with a particular focus on hospitality design. The right candidate will be bright, creative, and enthusiastic, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the field. We value hard-working, highly motivated individuals who can work independently while also being analytical and focused. Artistic training and talent are highly desirable, as this role requires a blend of creativity and technical skill. As a member of our collaborative international office, you will be expected to work independently and with limited supervision once trained. You will engage in all aspects of design, including sorting RFIs, managing samples, and organizing projects. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge in luxury hospitality design alongside a specialized team of award-winning designers. The position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office, and you will interface directly with the CEO and founding principal on a daily basis. Professionalism, organization, and responsibility are essential as you navigate the dual roles of assistant and interior designer.
