About The Position

Support the execution of advanced development and research program as a System Engineer/Analyst to work Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for a complex Systems of Systems (SoS) program office.

Requirements

Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience with DoD military platforms.
Security Clearance Required: A final DoD Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.

Responsibilities

Work with the Lead ICD system engineers responsible for conducting, monitoring, directing and coordinating development of various ICDs and other interface documentation between subsystems, systems, and SoSs.
Direct and participate in the preparation of ICDs, documentation, schedules, briefings, and milestones necessary for overall planning and execution.
Coordinate and lead Interface Control Working Groups (ICWGs) as assigned.
Develop, review, evaluate, and make recommendations concerning acquisition documents, milestones, and other program matters.
Participate in TIMs, TEMs, working groups, meetings both within LRNFO and with external organizations to ensure understanding of and track interface documentation across the SoSs.
Participate in and provide recommendations to testing and modeling / simulation activities with respect to interfaces.
Observe tests and review test results to determine adequacy of ICD and recommend corrective action to eliminate deficiencies.
