About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level Planning & Schedule Specialist to join our team in Long Beach, CA. In this role you will be on working with internal cross-functional teams to develop & maintain project schedules. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
• Ability to create project schedules to identify overall timeframe for project activities to meet the defined project objectives

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience working with PowerBI, Tableau or other business intelligence systems
• Experience conducting data analysis with Excel
• Experience with Agile / SAFe Methodology
• Experience with SQL and SQL Server
• Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Microsoft Project etc.)
• Experience working with Smartsheet

Responsibilities

• Supports preparation, development and coordination of an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements
• Assists with the development of program plans, schedules and coordinates with affected organizations, documents work statements and resulting schedules
• Supports the integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners of moderate complexity
• Identifies and reports performance variances
• Participates in the review of proposed changes to the baseline
