The mission of the mid-level gift officer is to manage investor relationships for investors in the mid-level range and garner new prospects to grow the mid-level portfolio.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required
  • Excellent organizational skills are required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in website research is preferred
  • General clerical/secretarial/administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Director of Development Support: Provide high-level, value-added relational support to the Development Director, including phone calls and face-to-face activities.
  • Donor Portfolio: Shepherds up to 300 or more key contacts for relationship building and ministry communications regarding financial investment into Mentoring Alliance.
  • Prospect Development & Management: Develops and implements a strategy to gain new prospects continuously. This would include scrubbing previous donor lists, building one-on-one relationships, lunch and learns, and numerous other activities to garner support
