The mission of the mid-level gift officer is to manage investor relationships for investors in the mid-level range and garner new prospects to grow the mid-level portfolio.

Requirements

College degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required
Excellent organizational skills are required

Nice To Haves

Experience in website research is preferred
General clerical/secretarial/administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

Director of Development Support: Provide high-level, value-added relational support to the Development Director, including phone calls and face-to-face activities.
Donor Portfolio: Shepherds up to 300 or more key contacts for relationship building and ministry communications regarding financial investment into Mentoring Alliance.
Prospect Development & Management: Develops and implements a strategy to gain new prospects continuously. This would include scrubbing previous donor lists, building one-on-one relationships, lunch and learns, and numerous other activities to garner support
