Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding CHG’s Digital organization is looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer to join our Client Services Platform team. The Client Services Platform team is building an advanced data product that enables CHG to move faster, deliver better experiences, and make life easier for our providers, patients, communities, and the healthcare organizations we serve

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced and capable with:
• JavaScript, NodeJS and TypeScript
• Modern JavaScript testing framework (e.g., Vitest)
• Cloud technologies and DevOps practices (AWS, Kubernetes)
• RESTful and event-driven backend microservices in a SaaS, multi-tenant environment
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Distributed event-store and stream-processing platform (preferably Apache Kafka)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ professional experience as a software engineer

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with modern front-end UI framework (React, Vue.js, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using engineering best practices.
• Deliver reliable, well-tested code with automated unit and integration tests.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to building scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineers to clarify requirements and deliver end-to-end features.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues to improve overall system performance and reliability.
