About The Position
Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our secure, mission-critical web applications. This role requires a solid background in both backend and frontend technologies, with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and integration with AWS Bedrock. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of relational databases and experience in delivering scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a solid portfolio of delivered projects.
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality, secure solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and its integration with applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Basic knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
- Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework, with an emphasis on security and performance.
- Assist in integrating AWS Bedrock to leverage foundation models and enhance application capabilities.
- Design and implement relational database schemas and queries to support application functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
