About The Position

At Gropen Inc., we design and build custom signage, custom exhibits, and branded environments that make a lasting impact. As a Mid-Level Fabricator, you’ll transform creative designs into high-quality finished products using a variety of materials—metal, wood, acrylic, vinyl, and composites. Every project is unique, ranging from architectural signage to immersive exhibits. You’ll not only fabricate and assemble these projects but also play a key role in preparing them for installation.

Requirements

3+ years of professional fabrication experience (signage, exhibits, millwork, or similar)
Strong understanding of shop drawings and build specifications
Proficiency with common shop tools and fabrication techniques
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship with commitment to quality
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Commitment to safety and shop organization.

Nice To Haves

Experience with museum exhibits, themed environments, or architectural signage
Basic finishing skills (paint, laminate, vinyl application, etc.)
Installation experience

Responsibilities

Fabricate custom signage and exhibit components from shop drawings and specifications
Work with a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastics, laminates, and composites
Operate shop equipment such as table saws, CNC routers, welders, and hand tools safely and accurately
Assist with mockups, prototypes, and problem-solving during fabrication
Maintain quality standards, attention to detail, and clean workmanship
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and lead fabricators
Support installation efforts as needed (local and occasional travel)
