About The Position

The position will manage complex environmental projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic environmental planning with a strong background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership in environmental assessments, permitting, and stakeholder engagement. Preferred experience includes but not limited to permitting, wetland delineations, stormwater evaluations, and CADD drafting. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes. Project management, including budgeting and scheduling. Manage environmental projects, including wetland delineations, permitting, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Phase I & II ESAs, site remediation, and sustainability initiatives. Interact and communicate effectively with fellow team members, clients, and agencies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, NEPA, CEQA, RCRA, CERCLA). Draft figures and site plans via CADD software. Perform environmental fieldwork including oversight of subcontractor. Oversee data collection, sampling, and analysis for air, water, and soil quality. Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory filings. Mentor and train junior staff as appropriate. Stay current with changes in environmental laws, policies, and best practices. Support business development by identifying opportunities, writing proposals, and contributing to project bids. Carry out job functions safely and in accordance with a Health and Safety Plan and/or industry standards. Respond to inquiries and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Work effectively and harmoniously in a culturally and ethnically diverse workforce. Ability to read and understand civil engineering plans, maps, and specifications. Perform mathematics such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry used in field survey analysis. Ability to explain, interpret, and teach policies, technical concepts, and designs. Proficient with environmental modeling tools and computer software (GIS, field data processing, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software). Manage projects and work with marketing to write proposals as needed Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant environmental experience, preferably in consulting, energy, or industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience includes but not limited to permitting, wetland delineations, stormwater evaluations, and CADD drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PE, PG, CHMM, QEP) is preferred.
