About The Position

Mid-Level Design and Analysis Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Global Services' team is searching for a Mid-Level Design and Analysis Engineer , situated in Long Beach, California . This position is to support the C-17 military cargo aircraft operating around the world. The successful candidate has an ability to perform systems integration; create wiring diagrams, system schematics, block diagrams; read electrical drawings such as wire harness, equipment installation; and resolve technical problems. The successful candidate will work with senior engineers to further develop skills. This position requires someone that is self-motivated and has leadership skills/lead potential. C-17 engineering is a customer focused organization and the ability to build strong customer relationships is a plus. Looking for a dynamic person that is ready to develop and take skills to the next level.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical design and systems integration (including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation and Wire Installation Design)
• Experience with aircraft wiring diagrams and system schematics

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD), utilizing model-based definition, preferably Unigraphics
• 3+ years o f experience with Siemens Capital tool
• 2+ years of experience with Teamcenter drawing release tool

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains wiring diagrams, system schematics, and block diagrams
• Performs wire design and systems integration for new projects, presents design reviews at SRR, PDR and CDR to design teams and customers
• Supports analysis and design reviews
• Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities
• Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection
• Supports the sustainment, development, and documentation of aircraft systems, primarily electrical and electro-mechanical system design (will include interacting directly with USAF customer, Field Engineers, and C-17 aircraft)
• Performs root cause analysis for field issues, provides corrective actions, and communicates with USAF customer (including presentations)
