Requirements

• At least two applicable WVDOH Construction Inspection and Materials Testing certifications.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or an associate degree in construction management or related field plus at least two years of relevant experience, or no degree plus at least four years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• WVDOH construction inspection and materials testing certifications.
• Working knowledge of WVDOH standards, specifications, and material testing procedures.
• Working knowledge of AASHTOWare Project and PlanGrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection services for transportation construction projects.
• Ensure all work and materials used are in compliance with the proposal, plans, and specifications.
• Perform required calculations, take measurements, and verify weights and volumes as needed.
• Plot and run cross sections and prepare 'as builds' during progress of the project.
• Perform materials testing.
• Document inspected work daily.
