We are hiring a Mid-level Civil Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater practice in our Woburn or Quincy, MA office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant engineering discipline is required
  • 2+ years of experience in the design of water/wastewater systems is required
  • EIT certification is required
  • Strong written and verbal skills are required.
  • Excellent driving record and valid driver's license required.
  • Project management skills with the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to maintain project budgets and schedules with knowledge of contract requirements preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Professional Engineer a plus
  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Construction experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to effectively present information to governmental boards, public groups and/or boards of directors preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, prepares and/or modifies all aspects necessary for projects to include data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, aerial photographs, etc. to plan and design projects.
  • Calculates costs and determines feasibility of projects based on analysis of collected data.
  • Must learn locally approved engineering, utility and water resource requirements.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
  • Communicates effectively with fellow team members, clients, and regulatory agencies, and works as part of a team.
