About The Position

Brink Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Apprentice Lineworker to assist in the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems within the high voltage transmission and substation electrical industry. This role involves working under the direct supervision of a Project Supervisor, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Lineman course graduate or equivalent
• High School graduate or G.E.D. required
• Current active driver's license
• Class A CDL required

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with Brink Constructors and Federal Job Safety Requirements (O.S.H.A.)
• Report to assigned job site location on time as directed
• Maintain and properly store tools and equipment
• Use and handle tools, equipment, and materials safely
• Organize materials and tools to maintain a clean work area
• Assist in various job duties as directed
• Install assigned work on wood and steel structures
• Learn functions of the jobs quickly
• Install switchgear and its terminations
• Install all sizes of conduit for timely installations
• Learn equipment operations (crane, flatbed truck, trailer, forklift, aerial lift)
• Use hand tools (pliers, hammer, crescent wrench, etc.)
• Safely use power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and KO punches
• Work from aerial lifts and operate them safely
• Perform work at heights up to 120 feet
• Read labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions accurately
• Acquire and maintain personal hand tools and other necessary tools
• Possess a valid Driver's License and have own transportation
• Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned
