We offer experience in addressing today’s hardest problems. Metis a PAE company is seeking a Mid Geospatial Analyst to support a Federal government client.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a CI Polygraph or the ability to obtain this level of clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific position with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the position from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Possess the GEOlNT Professional Certification - Geospatial Analysis (GA-II) for all Geospatial Analysts at the senior and SME experience levels.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social and physical sciences.
  • Exploit imagery, vector, and other data types to locate, identify, and map objects in the spatial domain.
  • Provide analysis on terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity.
  • Integrate geospatial data into all source products or analytical workflows.
  • Build and explain geospatial models that leverage statistics, data science, and appropriate quantitative methods.
  • Analyze and characterize spatial-temporal data using GIS such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for geospatial expertise, ensuring tradecraft compliance and analytic standards.
  • Provide advice on emerging geospatial methods, tools, algorithms, training, or requirements.
  • Employ new and improved methodologies or data sets to address information gaps.
  • Collaborate on analytic projects or programs throughout the DoD, IC, CCMDs, Foreign Partners, Academia, and Industry.
  • Provide deliverables that enhance analytic insight through the integration of new data sets and advanced analytic methods.
  • Leverage cartographic principles in all map products to ensure ease of use and interpretation.
  • Support efforts to vet or validate existing or emerging programs and capabilities.
  • Develop or discover algorithms and solutions to analyze, process, or visualize large data sets.
