About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Mid Geospatial Analyst to support one of our clients in Omaha, Nebraska. The position is open to collect resumes for future vacancies. As a Mid Geospatial Analyst, you will support the Government in developing a comprehensive understanding of potential adversary's strategic weapons via Spatial Analysis and Support. You will provide cartographic and spatial analytic support to USSTRATCOM J2 and employ Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expertise to identify, analyze, and depict intelligence issues spatially. Additionally, you will assist with analyzing area limitation and mobility models pertaining to potential adversary's military weapon systems and demonstrate knowledge of the influential factors pertaining to this problem set.

Requirements

  • Active TS/ SCI clearance with CI POLY or the ability to obtain a CI POLY.
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience with or education in geospatial sciences performing spatial analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Remote Sensing, or Geospatial Intelligence; or other bachelor's degree with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems.
  • Three (3) years' proficiencies with Environmental Systems Research Institute's ArcGIS Enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
  • Three (3) years of experience with relational database management.
  • Three (3) years' programming in Python scripting language.
  • Eight (8) years of experience with the installation, configuration, operation and limitations of the ArcGIS Enterprise; Portal, Operations Dashboard, and GeoEvent servers.
  • Proficiency in the use of ArcGIS to produce web maps, web mapping applications, and spatial analytic dashboards on a Portal.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of experience in the use of the ArcGIS Enterprise to produce web maps and web mapping applications.
  • Knowledge of employing adapters in the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor to process geospatial feeds for incorporation into a Common Intelligence Picture (CIP).
  • Current Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Government in developing a comprehensive understanding of potential adversary's strategic weapons via Spatial Analysis and Support.
  • Provide cartographic and spatial analytic support to USSTRATCOM J2 and employ Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expertise.
  • Assist with analyzing area limitation and mobility models pertaining to potential adversary's military weapon systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the influential factors pertaining to this problem set.
  • Have experience with the installation, configuration, operation, and limitations of the ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Use the ArcGIS Enterprise to produce web maps and web mapping applications.
  • Employ adapters in the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor to process DoD informational feeds for incorporation into a situational awareness tracker and geospatial analysis dashboard.
  • Advise and assist the Government on best practices for information sharing to support day-to-day operations, crisis, and exercises.
  • Assist with designing the digital production environment and advisement of business processes and information flow improvement.
  • Support J23 map/chart requirements management.
  • Employ Geodatabases and Python scripts to manage requirements and production of standard aeronautical, topographic, and hydrographic products.
  • Use ArcGIS Enterprise software to develop databases, create custom maps, charts, and graphics.
