About The Position

As a Mid Full Stack Developer, you'll work on building and enhancing secure, scalable applications and APIs that integrate legacy systems with modern platforms. This position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Due to the nature of government contracts, US Citizenship or Permanent residence is required.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–6+ years in full-stack development with strong frontend and backend skills.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue; strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Backend: Node.js, Python, Java, Spark.
  • API Design: REST, GraphQL; authentication standards (OAuth, JWT).
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Postman/Newman).
  • Background in performance optimization or security best practices.
  • Experience working on large-scale modernization projects in government or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using modern frameworks and best practices.
  • Implement REST and GraphQL APIs with proper authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, JWT).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on system design and architecture for scalable solutions.
  • Integrate data from legacy systems and modern databases into unified application layers.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and automated testing for quality assurance.
  • Support containerized deployments and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Contribute documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
