About The Position

Wonderful family located in St Charles is seeking a part time sitter for their two children ages 7 months and 4 years. Family is looking to find a sitter who has a warm personality and positive attitude as well as has an interest in early child development and enjoys doing crafts and being creative and engaging with children. Days and hours are Monday-Wednesday 11:00am-4:00pm and Thursdays 11:00am-2:00pm. Family would prefer to find a sitter who is consistent, reliable and has a desire remain with them for 1-2 years.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Have a valid drivers license with regular access to a vehicle and ability to transport children in said vehicle as needed
• Consent to a background screening

Responsibilities

• Age appropriate games and playing, feedings and naps
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care
• Light meals and snacks for children
• Restore the kitchen and play areas after food and fun (with age-appropriate assistance from the kids)
• Get to know a family and develop a relationship with the kids and parents over time
