Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid CI Cyber Analyst to support a federal government client. Cyber Analysts with Prescient Edge support a multitude of mission areas on behalf of our public and private sector clients. This may include supporting national security missions to identify, neutralize, and exploit foreign intelligence cyber actors or detecting and defending critical infrastructure from cyber criminals and ransomware campaigns. The roles and responsibilities of the Cyber Analyst can vary depending upon the mission they are supporting and the objectives of our customers. Common responsibilities include the identification, aggregation, and dissemination of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) associated with specific Advanced Persistent Threat actors, All-Source intelligence analysis to support cyber threat intelligence production, analysis of network traffic and/or log data to document adversary actions on the objectives, and a variety of other advanced cyber analytical tasks. Candidates seeking a Cyber Analyst position must be mature, motivated, and dedicated to the cyber operations mission. You will be expected to remain knowledgeable on emerging technologies and threats targeting those technologies. Cyber Analysts are often required to rapidly adapt to changing situations and must be capable of quickly studying and understanding new and challenging circumstances.

  • Identification, aggregation, and dissemination of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) associated with specific Advanced Persistent Threat actors
  • All-Source intelligence analysis to support cyber threat intelligence production
  • Analysis of network traffic and/or log data to document adversary actions on the objectives
  • Performing advanced cyber analytical tasks
  • Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a CI polygraph after hire
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience providing All-Source Intelligence and/or Cyber analysis
  • Possess industry recognized technical certifications relevant to the field of Cyber Analysis and/or Cyber Investigations (i.e, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GCFA, GIAC GCTI, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CySA+, DC3 Cyber Analysis Course, etc)
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a related discipline
  • Completion of Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) courses
  • Advanced certifications in cyber security or cyber threat analysis
  • Information Assurance Technical-Level II (IAT-II) certification
  • Cyber Security Service Provider - Incident Response (CSSP-IR) Certification
