About The Position

Please note this position supports our Weekend Day Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00AM to 3:00PM. You will work 36 Hours and be paid for 40 Hours plus earn a 21% pay premium. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Our employees work on the world's most advanced electronics. Come build your career with BAE Systems. Fabricates and/or modifies complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions. Familiar with substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, soldering skills and eutectic die attach. Should be familiar with substrate attach (duroid and ceramic), MMICs, and eutectic die attach. Sheet epoxies are our main application so they should also be familiar with duroid and ceramic applications. Prefer to be familiar with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens, Solder Reflow Ovens, and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Also prefer experience working with adhesives and epoxy's. Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instruction/safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience required in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instruction/safety guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microwave subassemblies and knowledge of MIL STD-883.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Secret Clearance
  • Familiar with substrate attach (duroid and ceramic), MMICs, and eutectic die attach.
