About The Position

You will be a Microwave Assembler for our team, responsible for performing fabrication or modification tasks on RF Microwave hybrid microcircuits and sub-assemblies. What You Will Be Doing As a Microwave Assembler, your responsibilities will include: Installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies Performs disassembly, assembly, modification, rework and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology Performs the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area Plans work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements Utilizes measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, drop indicator, etc…) to check parameters during and after work to assure that the unit conforms to specifications Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications Works independently with minimal supervision Why Join Us You're a skilled and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about microwave assembly and modification. Requirements

  • Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
  • Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings.
  • Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  • Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes.
  • Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification.
  • Use various hand tools (such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters) and pneumatic tools (such as torque drivers, and screwdrivers).
  • Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
  • Collaborate with teams members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting a Lockheed Martin contract.
