About The Position

The emphasis of this role is to be the technical sales-partnered lead and enhance our strategic selling capabilities and innovation capabilities across advanced cross-discipline security architectures. This position requires a technical leader who is adept at selling, can speak to broad security frameworks and ensure comprehensive relevance of cybersecurity across all technological domains. The Regional Field Chief Technology Officer (Regional Field CTO) will be partnered with our security sellers in a region (vertical, geography or both) and be responsible for supporting cybersecurity sales in the region as the cross-domain technical subject matter expert, drive the development and implementation of innovative security solutions and fostering collaboration across various disciplines (such as Datacenter, Digital, AI, Collaboration and other teams) to solve patterns of cybersecurity problems that emerge during WWT’s customer engagements. This role will also involve guiding the organization in adapting to emerging security trends and technologies, ensuring that our security strategies remain at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years of progressive technical experience in cyber security.
  • Experience in a pre-sales role, advising on a broad array of critical cyber security architectural disciplines.
  • Demonstrates experience and knowledge of cybersecurity threats and controls.
  • Identity & Access (Entra): Deep understanding of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), PIM, Identity Governance, and Verified ID.
  • Threat Protection (Defender XDR): Expert knowledge of Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365.
  • Cloud Security (Azure & Multi-Cloud): Proficiency in Defender for Cloud, Azure Network Security, and securing multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
  • SIEM & SOAR (Sentinel): Architecting Sentinel workspaces, KQL querying, and Logic App automation for SOAR.
  • Compliance & Privacy (Purview): Experience with Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the specialist security sellers and be the technical expert for the cybersecurity domain.
  • Lead and enhance partnered selling strategies across advanced cross-discipline security architectures.
  • Support the WWT GS&A Cyber Practices by presenting their material and capabilities to customers and partners.
  • Develop innovative solutions with the portfolio available in the WWT GS&A Cyber Practices.
  • Support our Emerging Vendor practice with technical evaluations and GTM guidance.
  • Serve as a Strategist and Evangelist for security strategies at conferences and public events, promoting WWT’s leadership in security innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Technology Center (WWT labs) to drive innovation and integration of emerging technologies into holistic security frameworks and guide cyber strategy for WWT’s customers when operating in the ATC environment.
  • Partner with the Cyber Range Team to consult on, perform validation of customer offerings and provide feedback to the Cyber Range Team.
  • Engage with WWT teams, solutions architects, partners/vendors, and professional services organizations to drive large and complex sales opportunities to successful closure.
  • Act as a strategic leader and advisor, providing mentorship and guidance to technical teams across the organization.
  • Establish and promote thought leadership within WWT and the broader industry, demonstrating expertise in both technical and business aspects of security.
  • Support WWT core sales teams by providing strategic insights and guidance as needed.
  • Present and discuss complex security strategies with engineers/architects and brief executive audiences on strategic initiatives.
  • Represent WWT at tradeshows, technology events, and customer presentations, showcasing our strategic vision and capabilities.
  • Author strategic content for the digital platform, highlighting WWT’s innovative security solutions and thought leadership.
  • Contribute to practice development and strategic planning efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead the development of new practice solutions and service offerings, integrating cross-discipline security strategies.
  • Nurture and maintain strategic relationships with partners, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Interact with other architects, providing strategic guidance on customer engagements and participating in an internal community of subject matter experts.
  • Develop field enablement materials to educate teams on designing secure, multi-vendor security architectures that align with strategic objectives.
