About The Position

HyerTek is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Pages, and Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Service for federal government clients. This is a hands-on development role focused on delivering reliable, secure, and well-structured applications within the Microsoft ecosystem. The Power Platform Developer will work closely with architects, senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to implement low-code solutions that meet functional requirements and federal security standards. This role is ideal for a developer with solid Power Platform experience who is ready to take on more complex work while still operating within an established technical direction.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365
  • Hands-on experience with: Power Apps (Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Service, Power Pages
  • Working knowledge of Power Fx and Dataverse data modeling
  • Experience integrating solutions with REST APIs and Azure services
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD concepts
  • Experience working within Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Azure Entra ID
  • Proficiency with JSON and at least one scripting or programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with guidance
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PCF controls or custom connectors
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Service features such as case management, queues, and SLAs
  • Exposure to Copilot Studio or AI Builder
  • Experience supporting solutions in federal or regulated environments
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Responsibilities

  • Developing Power Apps (Model-Driven) applications using Microsoft Dataverse
  • Building and maintaining Power Pages sites to support external or internal user access
  • Configuring and extending Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Service, including entities, forms, views, workflows, and business rules
  • Creating and maintaining Power Automate flows to automate business processes and system integrations
  • Implementing Power Fx–based logic and supporting performance optimization efforts
  • Integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services and external systems using REST APIs
  • Supporting Power BI reports and dashboards tied to Dataverse and Dynamics 365 data
  • Participating in requirements discussions and translating designs into working solution
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365
  • Supporting solution packaging, deployments, and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and Power Platform tools
  • Contributing to technical documentation and participating in Agile development activities
