About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, build, and operate solutions on Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. You will own the full SDLC—from requirements through design, development, testing, release, and production support—while contributing to knowledge‑sharing as we expand early‑stage adoption of the Power Platform across MasterBrand. The role includes environment administration and ALM practices consistent with our internal governance and DevOps standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years in application development, with 2–3+ years hands‑on in the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven) and Power Automate expertise.
  • Power BI for analytic/reporting solutions; strong DAX proficiency.
  • SharePoint Online and Dataverse/Microsoft Dynamics experience.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, C#, and TypeScript; familiarity with solution extensibility patterns.
  • Experience with connectors, application security, data governance, and application monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC in waterfall or agile environments; comfortable with ALM and dev/test/release pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Data modeling and relational design.
  • Azure AD, Azure Storage, PowerShell.
  • Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Dataflows, Power Apps Data Gateway.
  • Familiarity with governance patterns for Power Platform CoE and scalable solution architectures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to partner directly with business stakeholders across functions.
  • domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop applications following best practices and secure-by-design principles (Canvas and Model‑Driven).
  • Administer environments (Dev/UAT/Prod), manage solutions, and support ALM using established tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, pipelines, version control).
  • Troubleshoot and support production issues; participate in on‑call rotations as needed.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, including data models, integrations, and UX flows.
  • Test, debug, and refine application code; author test cases and automate quality checks where feasible.
  • Document system designs, configs, and user guides to enable smooth operations and adoption.
  • Meet delivery commitments; provide proactive status and risk/issue management to stakeholders.
  • Share knowledge and mentor developers adopting the Power Platform; contribute to patterns and standards within our CoE.
  • Integrate with diverse data sources including SharePoint Online, Oracle, SQL Server, and other systems via out‑of‑box and custom connectors
