About The Position

HyerTek is a Rockville, MD-based consulting firm specializing in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions for government and enterprise clients. We deliver enterprise applications, data analytics, and process automation that solve complex operational problems. We are a small, high-impact team where your work is visible and valued. HyerTek is looking for a Power Platform Developer with hands-on experience building and configuring model-driven and canvas applications, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions for our federal clients. You will work under the guidance of our Solution Architect and alongside other developers, contributing directly to application delivery on active federal contracts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience building model-driven app development, including forms, views, charts, and dashboards.
  • Strong integration experience, including implementing PCF Controls, CoE, and ALM capabilities
  • Experience building Power Automate flows (cloud flows, business process flows).
  • Solid understanding of Dataverse data modeling and security concepts.
  • Ability to write basic JavaScript, Power Fx, or similar scripting for app customization.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Build model-driven and canvas applications in Power Apps based on solution designs and user requirements, including forms, views, dashboards, and business logic.
  • Develop Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and business process automation.
  • Configure Dataverse: custom tables, columns, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
  • Support Power BI report development including connecting to Dataverse, building datasets, and creating dashboards for client stakeholders.
  • Assist with data migration from legacy systems into Dataverse, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and testing as part of an Agile delivery team.
  • Document solutions, including configuration guides, technical specifications, and user-facing training materials.
