About The Position

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a motivated and skilled Microsoft O365 and Power Platform Configuration Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of SharePoint and Power Platform products. You will be responsible for analyzing project-related problems and creating innovative solutions using Microsoft O365 and Power Platforms and best practices. You will provide the highest level of expert consultation for this implementation. Requirements

  • 3 years experience as a leader in designing, implementing and maintaining MS SharePoint and Power Platform products.
  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining products using PowerBI, PowerAutomate, and PowerApps.
  • Experience in SharePoint design that incorporates visual professionalism and maximizes user experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large or complex projects working with federal agencies or contractors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the team responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of MS SharePoint, Power Platform, including PowerBI, PowerAutomate and PowerApps.
  • Provide guidance on issues and ensure solutions are scalable and sustainable.
  • Develop solutions that incorporates visual professionalism and maximizes user experience.
  • Analyze new and complex project-related problems, creating innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate necessary support resources for the successful completion of projects.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align Agile delivery with mission objectives, compliance, and procurement constraints.
