The Microsoft Dynamics (AX) Configuration Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Dynamics AX, leading technical and functional aspects of the system. This role involves understanding business processes, training users, and suggesting improvements to enhance system usage and efficiency.

Act as the technical and functional Dynamics AX SME for the business.
Interview business users to understand their jobs and processes related to Dynamics AX.
Train business users on functions not currently utilized and suggest process improvements.
Assist in selecting future tools and upgrades for the business.
Understand and communicate system specifications, configurations, and software requirements for Dynamics AX.
Conduct user acceptance testing for all business processes and provide user training.
Create detailed plans for execution and implementation of new processes.
Monitor data integrity within Dynamics AX.

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Technical consulting and/or BA experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Experience in analysis, design, configuration, development, applications upgrade, integration, data modeling, and data migration.
Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and 365 is required.
Expertise in setup and maintenance of workflow design and configuration.
Full understanding of AX security architecture and design.
Depth in business transactional flows, root cause analysis, problem prevention, and system stability.
Ability to translate technical items to laymen's terms for users and vice versa for the app development team.
