BDO Digital is currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Project Management & Accounting Consultant to join our growing Dynamics F&O Practice, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada. This is a new role and the individual will own the following responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams in support of client ERP implementations, with a focus on Dynamics 365 F&O Project Management and Accounting (PMA) Perform a lead PMA consultant role on larger projects where multiple functional consultants are engaged, providing mentorship and guidance to other consultants Analyze customer project-based business models, financial requirements, and operational objectives, and provide in-depth application expertise in Project Management and Accounting Design and implement end-to-end project accounting solutions, including project costing, revenue recognition, billing methods, budgeting, forecasting, and project lifecycle management Streamline customer project governance, financial control, and reporting processes to achieve greater ROI within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition suite Collaborate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, and Sales consultants to ensure integrated project-based solutions Support and lead system configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment activities related to Project Management and Accounting Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff to support day-to-day project management, accounting, and reporting activities

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations / AX consulting experience, with strong expertise in Project Management and Accounting
Full-cycle Dynamics 365 F&O implementation experience, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support
Strong understanding of project-based accounting and financial management processes, including: Project costing and budgeting Revenue recognition and billing (fixed price, time and material, milestone-based) Project forecasting and cost control Project lifecycle and governance
Experience integrating Project Management and Accounting with Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Asset Management
Self-motivated, articulate, and able to lead discussions and inspire client audiences
Strong process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of one or more additional functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, or Manufacturing is preferred
Dynamics 365 F&O / AX certifications in Project Management and Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines will be considered in the selection process
