The Microsoft Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer will report to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Washington, D.C.
Design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions for BEP customers.
Manage the Microsoft infrastructure-related projects for BEP customers.
Design and implement the Microsoft cloud related technologies within BEP on schedule while satisfying the customer's requirements.
Collaborate with software developers and hardware engineers to develop strong interpersonal skills and evaluate change options for their company's information technology systems as a team.
Analyze current state and design the target solution according to BEP requirements.
Present the proposed solution to the stakeholders and project sponsors.
Implement, configure, and migrate technologies and data according to designed final architecture. Provide additional support to the client operating teams.
At least four (4) years' experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange online, O365, Azure cloud technology.
High-level understanding of server and cloud security concepts, desktop applications and operating systems.
VMWare virtualization in Data Centre, maintenance support and administration of production MS SQL database servers.
Strong scripting and automation experience.
General knowledge of Networking fundamentals.
Overall knowledge of other IT infrastructure technologies (networks, operating systems, virtualization platforms, databases, and middleware systems).
