About The Position

Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Competence Center. Your responsibilities will include platform-level operations, security and compliance, monitoring, and support on our global cloud platform. You will enable and provide consultancy to various application delivery teams to deploy global Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, develop architecture patterns, educate teams on best practices, and ensure the security of the cloud platform. To be successful in this role, you should be able to collaborate well with security officers, architects, developers and other application delivery team members to implement and maintain cloud based solutions in accordance with architecture guidelines and company security policies. A top-notch cloud engineer should have hands-on experience with Azure PaaS solutions, stay current with industry trends, and have excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience and proven knowledge (certifications preferred) on Microsoft Azure platform
  • Knowledge and experience with Customer-Focused mindset
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with working in an agile SCRUM team
  • Good networking skills to work and communicate with different departments and people across geographies.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of FinOps methodology to manage and optimize the costs of cloud-based solutions.
  • AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Experience managing Entra ID (App Registrations, API permissions and Single Sign-On)
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with architecture, security and application teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
  • Automating resolutions to common requests for cloud environments.
  • Educating teams on the implementation of cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining guidelines and best practices for application teams to follow.
  • Regularly reviewing existing solutions and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Interacting with internal clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
