ICF is seeking a Microsoft Application Developer to meet the needs of our utility contracts. In this role, you will work with project managers, technical architects, and clients to help design, develop and maintain products supporting our energy efficiency programs.   • Develop and maintain web applications and REST APIs using C#/.Net Core framework.
  • Perform full-stack development as well as handle the creation, maintenance, and further development of .NET applications and programs.
  • Modernizing existing applications, optimizing cloud architecture, and ensuring secure, scalable deployments.
  • Work in an agile project team alongside other developers, business analysts and UX designers to develop solutions for the organization.
  • Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core and SQL Server in an n-tier architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CSS, JavaScript and UI development.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js, Knockoutjs, jQuery).
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Experience with working in an agile environment.
  • Strong experience in relational database design with SQL Server.
  • Detailed and clear understanding of HTML and CSS and responsive design.
  • Good working knowledge of architecture and design patterns, web application architecture and relational database design.
  • Experience consuming and creating web services and APIs in a .NET environment.
  • Azure Environment including Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud deployment.
  • Knowledge of build and continuous integration tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills.
