About The Position

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking highly skilled Microsoft Administrator (Microsoft 365 & Identity Platform Product Owner) to own, operate, and evolve our Microsoft cloud ecosystem. This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Microsoft platform as a standardized, scalable service product. The Microsoft Administrator defines how identity, collaboration, endpoint management, and core productivity services are designed, secured, deployed, and supported across the organization. This is a hands-on engineering role with clear product accountability, not a helpdesk or ticket-focused position. Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technology role
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Product Administration in enterprise or healthcare environments
  • 2+ years working with Microsoft identity platforms
  • 2+ years’ experience in mixed method email migrations to 365 (Gmail, etc.)
  • 4+ years in communication-centric business role
  • 1+ year of Healthcare IT experience (HIPAA Aligned)

Responsibilities

  • Microsoft Platform Product Ownership
  • Own the Microsoft 365 and identity platform as a service product, including vision, standards, and roadmap
  • Define and maintain reference architectures for identity, collaboration, and endpoint management
  • Establish and track success metrics (availability, security posture, adoption, performance, cost efficiency)
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for Microsoft platform design decisions and outcomes
  • Ensure consistency across corporate, clinical, and acquisition environments
  • Identity & Access Management:
  • Own Azure Entra ID configuration, lifecycle, and governance
  • Design and enforce Conditional Access, MFA, and identity protection policies
  • Manage user, group, device, and service principal lifecycles
  • Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders on audits, risk assessments, and remediation
  • Integrate identity-aware access across Microsoft and third-party platforms
  • Work with security and development teams on enterprise application/security initiatives
  • Microsoft 365 Services:
  • Own Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive architecture and standards
  • Design information governance, retention, and collaboration models
  • Support email security, mail flow, and tenant hygiene
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve usability and adoption
  • Endpoint & Device Management:
  • Own RMM configuration for Windows devices
  • Define device compliance, configuration baselines, and update policies
  • Integrate endpoint identity and security controls
  • Support lifecycle management for corporate endpoints
  • Automation, Standardization, and Scale:
  • Drive automation-first as a first-class platform feature
  • Build PowerShell-based automation for provisioning, configuration, and reporting
  • Reduce manual effort and configuration drift through standardization
  • Own Microsoft platform documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks
  • Security, Compliance, and Reliability:
  • Partner with infrastructure and security leadership to align Microsoft controls with enterprise security standards
  • Support audits, investigations, and compliance initiatives (HIPAA-aligned)
  • Monitor service health and lead response to Microsoft platform incidents
