At SoundExchange, we are looking for a skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer to design, implement, and support modern workplace solutions that empower collaboration, productivity, and security across the enterprise using Microsoft 365 technologies. This is an ideal role for anyone who enjoys being hands on and enjoys troubleshooting, customer support, and variety in their technical work. You will be a member of the Digital Workplace team and report to the Manager of Digital Workplace. This is a hybrid role, in-office three days per week, as required for maintenance and technical support, and as needed to support business needs.

  • Administer, support, and enhance Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Exchange, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Copilot
  • Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions via Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Okta, and other platforms
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Build, configure, and enforce security policies using Microsoft Defender, GPO, Conditional Access, Purview, and compliance tools
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement new features and optimize workflows
  • Support and monitor on-prem and virtual infrastructure consisting of Windows servers, Cisco switches, Microsoft Hyper V, Failover Cluster Manager, AWS EC2, VPN, and building Wi-Fi Access Points.
  • Monitor backups and patch management on Windows and Mac user devices, servers, switches, and virtual machines.
  • Address Tech Support tickets related to system support and administrative tasks for users on Windows, MacOS devices, and other platforms.
  • Assist with administration of Microsoft365, Atlassian Cloud, Okta applications, and Intune Tenant
  • Assist with network infrastructure and software integrations and migrations including (but not limited to) firewalls, switches, servers, virtual machines, Okta, and Microsoft tools.
  • Experience with hybrid environments and migrating workloads to the cloud
  • Experience with administrative functions on MacOS, Windows devices, and backend systems (MS Exchange, Azure AD, MS Office, MS Windows Server, etc).
  • Strong familiarity of identity and access management (IAM)
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) using Intune and/or Kandji
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
  • Familiarity with Video Conferencing platforms and hardware
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, System Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a system administrator, infrastructure engineer, or cloud administrator.
