Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Security Solutions.
  • Proven ability to act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 and related technologies, providing guidance on complex implementations and technical solutions.
  • Experience optimizing Microsoft 365 license usage to drive cost efficiencies and ensure that the organization derives maximum value from its subscriptions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues across Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience in an ITIL-based enterprise environment and a strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including user authentication, cloud computing, and Microsoft solutions.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science with 4+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
  • MCSE or equivalent, and certifications in Microsoft 365 (Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, Security & Compliance Fundamentals)

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the Microsoft Center of Excellence at Kinaxis, setting best practices, governance, and standards for the adoption and use of Microsoft technologies across the organization.
  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, GenAI, Azure, and other Microsoft technologies to enhance collaboration, communication, and productivity across teams.
  • Provide expert guidance on Microsoft 365 implementations, including troubleshooting, gap assessments, and strategic advice for optimizing the use of Microsoft solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing Microsoft 365 licenses, ensuring that the organization is getting the most value out of its Microsoft products and services, and driving ROI from the platform.
  • Oversee the documentation and communication of Microsoft 365 release activities, ensuring that the organization is informed and prepared for new features and updates.
  • Collaborate with both business and IT teams to address challenges with Microsoft 365 solutions, drive user adoption, and ensure alignment with business goals to maximize the value of Microsoft technologies.
  • Handle ServiceNow requests and tasks related to Microsoft 365 as needed, ensuring timely resolutions and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Lead internal communications for the Microsoft Center of Excellence, including the development of newsletters, feature updates, and responses to Microsoft-related inquiries. Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to ensure effective use of Microsoft products.
