Summary: Perform a quality check and sort precision machined components using a microscope.

Requirements

Understand how to adjust eyepieces on Microscope to clearly see object with both eyes.
Understand Magnification adjustment on Microscope.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to perform same task for long periods of time without compromising quality.
Good vision and be able to pass a vision test.

Responsibilities

Use of a microscope to check and sort precision machined components.
Measures dimensions of parts.
Examines parts for defects such as cracks and blowholes.
Separates and marks defective castings according to salvage operation required.
Demonstrates attention to detail.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Uses time efficiently.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Monitors own work to ensure quality.
Meets productivity standards
Completes work in timely manner
Strives to increase productivity
Works quickly.
Observes safety and security procedures.
Is consistently at work and on time.
Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
