Under supervision, operate micrographics/scanning equipment and perform clerical support functions as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY: Perform records management and micrographics/scanning services for County departments. Respond to requests for files or record retrieval. Participate in the developing, duplicating, printing, verifying, labeling and editing microfilm or scanned files. Process/scan documents and inspect final products to assure quality control. Index microfilmed or scanned records and related documents, and organize their storage. Maintain a production log. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. May perform data entry and clerical support functions. Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED, plus two (2) years related experience and/or technical training.
  • Knowledge of records management; microfilming and/or scanning procedures.
  • Ability to operate micrographics/scanning equipment as well as a variety of computer/office equipment.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate in oral and written English.
  • Employee must successfully complete the post-offer employment medical examination and a background investigation.
  • Employee must comply with the safety guidelines of the County.
  • Employee must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license by employment date.
