Peraton is seeking experienced Microelectronics SME to join our talented team of technical and business experts providing key operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a customer in Virginia. The ideal Microelectronics SME candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in Microelectronics, Electronic devices, Semiconductor fabrication, high performance computing to include non-traditional approaches such as neuromorphic and quantum computing with the ability to advise on national-level intelligence and strategic issues. Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering and Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for the technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M). In this role, the Microelectronics SME will act as a Technical Advisor/Consultant to critical SI/SETA activities and serve as a primary interface between the Program customers and stakeholders, the technical development team, and end users. They will ensure robust requirements definitions, execution and development processes, solutions as well as support testing/training in advance of the deployment of technical capabilities. They will be expected to support multiple efforts and will assist the customer in making informed decisions related to requirements and developments. They will also assist with the deployment of technical capabilities while serving as a focal point to balance various equities and operational considerations. The Microelectronics SME will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Bring their extensive experience within microelectronics and ability to advise on national-level intelligence and strategic issues with an understanding of the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) Coordination Cell (C3) mission. Have a solid working experience in microelectronics design, semiconductor device fabrication and/or foundry operations, high-performance computers, and application specific integrated circuit development. Provide oversight and leverage their technical expertise with a team to support C3 efforts to identify risks and develop long-term strategies that address critical manufacture, development, design, testing and end use of microelectronics technologies areas impacted by potential disruptions. Support decision makers and special projects to include planning, producing, coordinating written products, and presenting briefings. Engage and collaborate with groups across the classified customer space to understand technical needs and derive requirements for future technology roadmaps and programs. Be responsible to stay up to date with the latest technology trends and provide technical support for high performance computing to include non-traditional approaches such as neuromorphic and quantum computing. Be responsible and part of generating, reviewing, and revising standard operating procedures, to meet customer stakeholders and mission partners requirements. Have background and experience in supporting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce development programs. This role requires the candidate to perform duties on-site Mon-Fri. May require up to 25% travel, based on customer needs
