We are seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to support day‑to-day microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities within a regulated laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow foundational microbiology experience in a cGMP environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or 0–2 years of directly related laboratory experience
  • Experience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic technique
  • Prior work in a laboratory setting required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data analysis tools
  • Ability to learn new techniques and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record‑keeping abilities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive, adaptable attitude
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine microbiological testing including endotoxin and bioburden assays
  • Execute environmental monitoring (EM) sampling in cleanrooms and controlled spaces
  • Conduct water sampling activities; may include sampling within animal facility areas
  • Perform clean steam and compressed gas sampling
  • Maintain aseptic technique throughout all laboratory operations
  • Support general laboratory activities including cleaning, stocking, inventory, and cold-room 5S upkeep
  • Accurately document all work in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards
  • Follow established protocols and SOPs while assisting in troubleshooting as needed
