About The Position

Overview: Immediate openings for entry level & early career Microbiologists within a beverage manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of an AS degree in Biology
• High Attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to adapt to an changing environment

Responsibilities

• Document and respond to consumer complaints
• Assist with the weekly microbiological report
• Report any mechanical, raw material or procedural problems to the Quality Manager
• Perform a variety of sample collections and plating of finished products.
• Read and interpret microbioloqical plates.
• Participate in short and long term microbioloqical research projects.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and buffer solutions as necessary.
• Order laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Help maintain the consumer complaint database
• Perform other tasks as requested by the Quality Manager.
• Perform miscellaneous projects as needed, including; extra sample collections, new product testing, testing consumer samples, changing carbon beds or cleaning reaction tanks in the waterplant, etc.
