About The Position

The QC Technician will work the 3rd shift from Tuesday to Saturday, focusing on daily Quality Control lab tasks as a member of the Quality Control team. This role is essential for maintaining the quality standards of the products and ensuring compliance with various quality systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or similar field, or an associate degree with at least 2 years' relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable about the analyses and tests performed in the Quality Control department.
• Ability to work as an active team member as well as independently.
• Strong math and good communication skills (both verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all quality systems including ISO 9001 and Food Safety, understanding DuPont's Quality Policy and procedures.
• Perform routine lab testing with accurate and timely recording of test results into the SAP Quality Management module.
• Utilize lab reference materials for information regarding testing.
• Understand and follow procedures for the proper calibration and use of the department's equipment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of food and Dietary Supplement products.
• Perform environmental sampling procedures.
• Follow and enforce laboratory safety procedures.
