About The Position

The Sever at Michigan Athletic Club is responsible for providing quality food service to members and guests. This role emphasizes fast, friendly, and accurate service while maintaining a clean and stocked environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age to apply and have high school diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Ability to multi-task is essential.
• Friendly disposition and desire to serve people are necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Previous food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly and accurate service.
• Point of Sale Entry; taking orders on the touch screen unit, cash handling, cash-out procedures.
• Assist the cook in filling orders.
• Food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and stocked environment in the MAC.
• Follow all applicable health codes.
• Maximize sales and minimize food waste.
