The Michaels Party Host position is focused on delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key responsibilities include helping customers locate products, providing solutions, and executing cash handling to company standards. The role also involves engaging customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assisting with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Operational duties include participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, as well as merchandise recovery and general store maintenance to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store. Team members are expected to perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties, support shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies. The role requires interacting with others in an accepting and respectful manner, maintaining a positive attitude, and serving as a role model. Additionally, team members will be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
