MHS Part-time Driver
About The Position
This position will provide transportation from Maryville High School to Pellissippi State Community College, TCAT Knoxville, or local internship sites for students on a daily basis. District vans will be provided for the transport of students. The Pellissippi Blount County Campus driving schedule will be from 8:00-10:15am Monday through Thursday. The TCAT Knoxville driving schedule will be from 1:30-4:00pm Monday through Friday. Details: Part-time, 5.5 hour position, 188 work days Starting salary between $16.28 -17.35 per hour Start Date: December 11, 2025 Application Deadline: December 30, 2025
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrate aptitude for the work to be performed in an environment of high expectations and with adolescent learners
- Valid TN driver's license and clean driving record to be verified by DMV
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation to students attending Pellissippi State Community College, TCAT Knoville, and internship locations as needed.
- Ensure safety of students during transport
- Maintain records of transport
- Demonstrate flexibility, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Promote a positive environment for students while maintaining discipline
- Maintain excellent attendance
