About The Position

Job Summary Manages and coordinates Linen Distribution, Courier Services, and Asset Management, including budget adherence, productivity standards, staffing processes, inventory level management and functional efficiencies. Ensures appropriate training and supervision on proper use of equipment to minimize accidents and maximize safety. Responsible for implementing regulatory requirements and infection control standards. Essential Functions All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Provides strategic leadership for Linen operations and courier staff. Serves as the leadership partner with the Linen primary distributor. Assists in leading Linen utilization review committees. Identifies barriers and opportunities for improvement and works in a collaborative way to implement best-in-class practices. Runs reports and develops dashboards to facilitate effective decision making. Creates and monitors productivity metrics and manages staff towards higher efficiency targets. Reviews courier routes for optimization and maximization of strategic assets. Ensures product or service delivery is accurate and on time. Develops applicable policies and procedures for asset management transportation, storage, and disposal. Implements strategies to preserve assets and develop equipment end-of-life processes. Facilitates the sale of assets deemed unsuitable to the organization. Responsible for vehicle/driver safety related to maintenance, operations, licensing, competencies, inspections etc. Ensures infection prevention protocols are followed related to handling and transport of all linen. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field.
  • Experience using metrics to drive decisions and working with external vendors.
  • Knowledge of supply chain requirements in healthcare environments.
  • Attention to detail.
