We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for leading the overall procurement activities associated with the various Raytheon programs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with supplier management.
  • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.).
  • Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow downs).
  • Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders and leading executive and program level supplier reviews
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in supply chain, Business Finance or STEM field.
  • Experience in the defense industry.
  • Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance.
  • Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcome (i.e., multi-task).
  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare solicitations including RFQ, RFP, and RFI activities from prospective subcontractors and employing various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability.
  • Managing Supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones
  • Monitoring and reporting cost, schedule and status of suppliers and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms).
  • Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance metrics and recommend/implement corrective actions as necessary.
