About The Position

To Plan, Organize, Direct And Control All Operations Within The Service Area In A Way That Provides Maximum Service To Customers While Maintaining, A Cost Effective Station Operation. Two (2) Years College/Equivalent. Five (5) Years Business Experience. Knowledge Of Fedex Field Operations, Features Of Service, Systems, Policies And Procedures. Experience In A Related International Service Environment Preferred. Ability To Lift 75 Lbs. Abililty To Maneuver Packages Of Any Weight Above 75 Lbs. With Appropriate Equipment And/Or Assistance From Another Person. Strong Basic Management, Human Relations And Communications Skills. Must Meet Qualifications As Outlined In Section 391 Of The Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Requires Medical Exam In Accordance With Fmcsa Or Faa Regulations. Minimum Education High School diploma/GED. Minimum Experience One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR Bachelor's degree OR Twelve months general FedEx operations experience ​ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of FedEx field operations, features of service, systems, policies and procedures. Familiarity with various local cultures and customs. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. If necessary, must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents. Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license for type of vehicle assigned and required endorsement hazardous materials (HME). FMCSA covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary. Information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience related to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
