About The Position

To Plan, Organize And Control The Input, Movement, Process/Sort, And Output Of Various Functions Of Hub Operations To Ensure A High Level Of Service And On-Time Launch At A Minimal Cost. Directs All Other Necessary Activities Which Provide Optimum Service To Fedex Customers.

Requirements

• Two (2) Years College/Equivalent In Business.
• Five (5) Years Business Experience, Preferably Including Two (2) Years Related Experience In Transportation Industry.
• Ability To Successfully Complete Dg Specialist Training And To Interpret Legal Documentation Regarding Hazardous Shipments, If Required.
• Strong Basic Management, Human Relations And Communications Skills.
• Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• High School diploma/GED.
• One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR
• Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR
• Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR
• Bachelor's degree OR
• Twelve months general FedEx operations experience
• Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents.
