About The Position

The Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Program Manager plans, implements, and oversees clinical and administrative outpatient services for assigned transplant programs. This role ensures compliance with UNOS and CMS standards, drives quality improvement initiatives, manages financial and operational efficiencies, and oversees personnel and workflow planning. Responsibilities include policy development, audit readiness, collaboration with medical and surgical directors, and continuous evaluation of care delivery models to optimize outcomes and cost savings. Acts as a liaison between administration, faculty, staff, and external organizations while maintaining departmental compliance and professional standards.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Nursing or Master's Degree Related Field
  • License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State Registered Nurse
  • Four (4) years' experience in nursing required
  • Comprehensive understanding of UNOS and CMS standards and ability to ensure compliance across all program operations.
  • Expertise in outpatient service planning, workflow optimization, and policy development for transplant programs.
  • Ability to design, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives and operational metrics.
  • Proficient in analyzing budgets, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
  • Demonstrates capability to anticipate staffing needs, recruit, supervise, and evaluate team members effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with medical directors, surgical directors, nursing managers, and external stakeholders.
